2/26/2012 - GRAND OPENING OF LA OFFICE

Remote Digital Media has now officially embraced the Los Angeles market. We will have our offices in Van Nuys and will share some resources with Clair Broadcast.

02/01/2012 - RDM adds Digidesign Venue Profile to its arsenal

We have just purchased a fully blown Venue Profile mix console with stage box for up to 96 inputs of live mixing and recording.

10/29/2011 - Tiesto Live from Hard Rock in Las Vegas

RDM shoots 10 camera live stream for Plataforma TV. A combination of Sony EX3's, Panasonic POV pan/tils, and POV's were used in conjunction with Teradek Cube, and Telestream's Wirecast to create multi-bitrate streams.

09/25/2011 - RDM provides Edit facilities for Nickelodeon's World Wide Day of Play

Working with Alex Colleti productions, RDM is providing Live Edit recording for Nickelodeon's World Wide Day of Play in Washington, DC. Using LiveEdit allows the recording of 12 streams of HD video into it's internal SAN while 6 editors can begin editing content for the show which airs later the same day.

08/15/2011 - RDM provides multi-camera wireless for TLC's NEXT GREAT BAKER

RDM is providing a new wireless video system, "RDM WiFi Video", to the TLC series, Next Great Baker. With this new technology, we can support 8-10 cameras wirelessly over a closed wifi network. Additionally, producers are able to view any camera and a multi view of the cameras on their iPADs. RDM also provided complete audio support for the production including RF communications, 24 channels of wireless microphones and disk based multitrack recording.

03/15/2011 - RDM provides tehcnical facilitites at SxSW

RDM was chosen as the facilities provider for Independent Film Channel's coverage at SxSW. This included outfitting two studios at the IFC Crossroads House, as well as integrating edit facilities utilizing RDM's new LIVE EDIT system. LiveEdit allows live recording of up to 12 channels of HD-SDI into an onboard 64TB SAN, while allowing realtime access of that footage, while recording, to six edit systems.

01/10/10 - RDM provides audio and video infrastructure for "Chopped"

RDM is providing the complete audio and video infrastructure for Food Network's hit show "Chopped". For the third time, RDM is the vendor of choice to build and manage this complex infrastructure, including all wired and wireless microphones, communications, and multi-track audio record. Additionally a complex routing scheme using an AVIOM system to record multiple DVD's with changing audio for transcription purposes.

05/08/09 - RDM helps Space Station Media bring back "MTV UNPLUGGED"

Remote Digital Media has been contracted by Space Station Media to provide a production system and full audio complement for the resurrected series "MTV Unplugged". RDM provided a 5 camera tapeless flypack solution, Pro Tools recording system, full music microphone package, JBL line array PA and monitor mix system.

03/18/09 - RDM goes back to FOR-A switcher...

RDM acquires new HD-SDI switcher....

RDM has upgraded to FOR-A's new HVS300 multi-format switcher. The HVS300 generates a 16 window multi-view. It will also come configured with 12 HD-SDI inputs (up converter on each input) and 4 AUX outputs with remote panels. First to use it will be "Chopped" Season 2, for City Lights Media Group and Food Network.

02/25/09 - RDM provides 7 HD-SDI stream record for Stevie Wonder

REMOTE DIGITAL MEDIA records seven 1080i streams directly into Final Cut Pro, for PBS’s “Stevie Wonder, In Performance at the White House”

Washington, D.C., February 25th, 2009 -- Remote Digital Media was contracted to provide a system that would enable the PBS In Performance Special to be edited and delivered within 15 hours for broadcast the next day.

Remote Digital Media provided WETA with a system to record six cameras, a live program cut, and audio iso’s directly into Final Cut Pro, for a fast edit turnaround. The RDM record rack easily fit into All Mobile Video’s “Celebrity” HD production truck, and allowed the show’s post producer to leave immediately after the show with all the media in a small briefcase to Interface Media Group, to begin editing the show with all sources. Within 30 minutes of their arrival at the post house all the media was transfered and the edit began.

“Stevie Wonder, In Performance at the White House” airs on PBS at 8pm on February 26th, 2009. Beginning Friday, February 27th, the entire broadcast will be available online, at www.pbs.org/inperformanceatthewhitehouse.

10/10/08 - RDM returns from Singapore with 40TB of video..

RDM successfully recorded 5 cameras plus a line cut for 6 days directly to hard drives. We recorded 36 bands for "SUTASI", an Asian talent search program, and delivered 40 TB of DVCProHD files. In addition, 56 input multi-track recordings with full redundancy were delivered on 1 drive.
